Antonin Raymond: Un Architecte occidental au Japon 1888-1976. Antonin Raymond, born in Bohemia, emigrated to the United States where he collaborated with Frank Lloyd Wright. He and his wife, the designer Noemi Pernessin, moved to Japan on two occasions, first in 1917 and again in the late 1940s. In the United States and Japan, the couple became important precursors to the early Modern movement, as well as acting as a bridge between the design cultures of the West and Japan.
